International Commission Ranks Grafton in Top 3% of Provider Organizations<\/p>\n
Grafton\u2019s Berryville Facility & Corporate Services Receive Highest Level Accreditation<\/p>\n
Winchester, VA \u2013 February 14, 2008 \u2013 The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) has granted Grafton\u2019s Berryville, Virginia facility and Corporate Services division a three-year accreditation, CARF\u2019s highest level. Grafton earned the rating following an on-site review.<\/p>\n
In early January, CARF surveyors visited Grafton\u2019s Berryville site to conduct a re-accreditation review of services provided at Grafton\u2019s Berryville Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF). During a review, surveyors look for evidence of conformance to 1,062 CARF standards. Berryville\u2019s PRTF and supporting corporate departments meet all applicable criteria, scoring a perfect 1,062. The official CARF survey report states, \u201cThis is an extraordinary accomplishment, as only 3 percent of CARF surveys result in no recommendations.\u201d The \u201cno recommendation\u201d classification means that Grafton already meets CARF\u2019s 1,062 required standards and no corrective steps are necessary.<\/p>\n
